The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating the movement of goods, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining efficient supply chain operations. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work closely with internal teams, vendors, and logistics partners.

The role also provides operational support and cross-coverage for warehouse activities when required.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate daily logistics operations including shipments, deliveries, and inventory movements
Arrange transportation (local and international) and liaise with freight forwarders, carriers, and warehouse teams
Prepare and process shipping documents (e.g., invoices, packing lists, delivery orders, permits)
Monitor shipment status and ensure on-time delivery; proactively resolve delays or issues
Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and logistics transactions
Communicate with suppliers, customers, and internal departments regarding order status and delivery schedules
Ensure compliance with company policies, customs regulations, and safety standards
Support stock control activities including stock counts and reconciliation
Identify opportunities to improve logistics processes and reduce costs
Provide cross-coverage for warehouse operations during the Warehouse Coordinator’s absence

Requirements:

Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse operations
Familiarity with shipping documentation and import/export procedures
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word); experience with ERP systems is an advantage
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Good communication and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
