Job Summary:

Function as a Medical Social Worker to provide bio-psychosocial assessment and intervention in management of patient care that meets standard of practice.

Casework/Psychosocial Care
Provide end-to-end case management support and appropriate level of care through assessment, care planning, interventions and evaluation of care
Group work
Assist in developing, conducting and facilitating group work sessions
Community Work
Assist in implementing new and/or existing community support systems which bring about enhanced psychosocial well-being of the community.
Program Development and Implementation
Provide educational/clinical supervision
Provide guidance, training and co-supervision to interns and fresh MSWs in their standards of practice delivery.
Deliver education to patients/public
Engage in research
To apply social work ethics and values

Job Requirements:

Education

A recognised qualification in Social Work
