Job Summary
We are seeking a Project Engineer to support the planning, execution, and delivery of automation equipment projects. The role is responsible for monitoring project progress, managing schedules and budgets, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring all deliverables meet customer specifications and quality standards.The Project Engineer will act as the key liaison between internal teams and customers, provide regular status updates to management, and proactively identify and mitigate project risks to ensure timely and successful project completion.
Location: NorthWorking days: 5 days a week
Working hours: 830am - 530pm
Key Responsibilities- Manage and monitor project execution to optimize efficiency, performance, and profitability
- Track project health, identify risks, and implement corrective actions when required
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
- Provide regular progress updates and highlight potential schedule or cost impacts
- Conduct project status meetings with internal teams and external stakeholders
- Act as the main liaison between customers and the project team
- Ensure deliverables meet customer specifications, quality standards, and timelines
- Coordinate cross-functional resources (mechanical, electrical, software, assembly)
- Organise design and execution reviews to resolve technical or scheduling issues
- Prepare and submit project reports to management, including risks and key challenges
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field
- 1–2 years of experience in project engineering or project coordination
- Basic knowledge of automation systems is an advantage
- Familiar with project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall)
- Exposure to design tools such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks is a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management tools
