Senior Business Analyst (Enterprise Applications & Cloud Solutions) - Geylang

About the Role

You will play a pivotal role in shaping solutions within the domains of cloud resale, multi-cloud management, or telecom operator billing systems.

• Lead requirements elicitation, analysis, documentation (user stories, use cases, functional/non-functional specs), and validation for enterprise-scale applications.
• Translate complex business needs into clear, actionable technical specifications and solution designs.
• Collaborate closely with development teams, leveraging deep technical understanding to ensure feasible and optimal solution design.
• Design and optimize business processes related to cloud services (resale, management) and/or telecom billing operations.
• Facilitate workshops and meetings effectively with diverse, cross-functional, and potentially international stakeholders.
• Act as the primary liaison between business units (Product, Sales, Operations, Finance) and technology teams (Development, QA, DevOps).
• Champion Agile methodologies throughout the project lifecycle (e.g., Scrum, Kanban), participating actively in ceremonies (sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives) and ensuring backlog readiness.
• Analyze and model data flows and system integrations, particularly in complex cloud or billing environments.
• Support testing strategies, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and solution deployment.
• Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies.
• Provide post-implementation support and analysis for continuous improvement.

• Mandatory Technical Foundation: Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience as a Software Developer/Engineer. (Understanding of SDLC, coding concepts, APIs, databases is crucial).
• Core BA Expertise: Proven track record with at least 5 years of experience in business analysis, specifically focused on the planning, design, and requirements specification for large-scale, complex enterprise applications.
• Domain Expertise: Demonstrated experience in ONE or MORE of the following critical domains:

1. Cloud Service Resale Platforms
2. Multi-Cloud Management Solutions
3. Telecom Operator Billing Systems (BSS/OSS) or similar system

• Language Proficiency: Fluent in both English and Mandarin Chinese (written and spoken) is essential. Must be capable of facilitating meetings, negotiating requirements, creating detailed documentation, and presenting complex information effectively to all levels in both languages without barriers.
• Agile Project Management: Solid working knowledge and practical experience applying Agile principles and frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) in a project delivery context.
• Location: Must be based in Singapore and legally eligible to work there full-time.

• Strong understanding of Cloud computing concepts (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and major providers (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Expertise in business process modeling (BPMN, UML).
• Proficiency with BA tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Visio, Lucidchart, enterprise BA tools).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Outstanding communication, presentation, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and results-oriented with a strong sense of ownership.
• Experience working in multinational or multicultural environments.

• Formal certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA).
• Agile Certification (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster
• CSM, Professional Scrum Master
• PSM, PMI-ACP).
• Experience with any billing platforms or cloud marketplace technologies.

Experience in the Telecommunications or Managed Service Provider (MSP) industry
