About the role

Sales Director will be responsible for driving business growth, managing sales operations, and overseeing customer development activities across the Company's motor, service, and electrical business segments. The role is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, strengthening customer relationships, supporting strategic market expansion, and ensuring achievement of sales and profitability targets.

This position will also oversee and guide the sales team to support business development initiatives, sales coordination, and project-related commercial activities.

Key responsibilities
  • Develop and implement sales and business development strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across motor, service, electrical, and project-related business segments.
  • Expand customer base and strengthen market presence in Singapore and assigned markets.
  • Support strategic business expansion initiatives, including infrastructure and project-related opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, consultants, contractors, EPCs, developers, and business partners.
  • Conduct regular customer visits, business reviews, and relationship engagement activities.
  • Oversee tender submissions, quotation reviews, and commercial proposal coordination.
  • Coordinate closely with engineering, project, service, and operations teams to ensure alignment on customer requirements and project execution.
  • Supervise, guide, and support the sales executives within the department.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, customer developments, and industry movements.
About you
  • Diploma or Degree in Business, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 5–8 years of relevant sales, business development, or commercial experience, preferably within industrial, engineering, electrical, infrastructure, or project-related industries.
  • Experience in managing customer accounts, sales activities, and project-related commercial coordination.
  • Prior experience in team supervision or leadership will be an advantage.
  • Good understanding of Singapore market practices and customer management.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel for business activities where required.
