Quality Assurance Manager - Toa Payoh

Main Purpose of the Job

Responsible for management and control of all Quality Assurance (QA), Quality Control (QC) and Regulatory & Compliance matters in the Nutritional plant to ensure the production of safe and compliance products.

1. People and know-how: Develop and maintain competency and quality awareness, and commitment to consistently produce quality and compliant products'
2. Quality System: Setup, manage, enforce and maintain the Nestlé Quality Management System as well as establishing the Operating Quality Manual.
3. Laboratory methods and practices: Ensure adequate functioning of the factory laboratories, including personnel safety, qualification of test methods, availability, qualitifcation and maintenance of lab instruments/equipment and training of relevant colleagues working in the labs'
4. GMP: Ensure adherence to good maufacturing and hygienic practices in the factory. Ensure implementation of the factory pest management and foreign bodies reduction programmes
5. Compliance Management Manage the internal/external audit programme, factory HACCP implementation and conformance to Nestle Quality Standard and relevant Standards / Guidelines, assessing the performance of the quality system and its effectiveness, reporting its effectiveness to the management and proposing actions for improvement.
6. Continuous improvement and root cause analysis: Ensure the monitoring of key quality parameters. Lead the factory incident investigation and management review of quality (MRQ) to drive structured root cause analysis and continuous improvement in the quest for zero defect.
7. Product Compliance: Maintain full compliant products through on time product monitoring and proper change management.

Key Experiences

• University graduate or equivalent (preferred microbiology, chemistry

or food science)

• Group leader in a factory: Deputy QA, Quality Systems, Hygienist; or
• QA specialist in a PTC or R&D Centre, NRC, CO-QM

• Management exposure across several functions
• Different factory an/or market positions, environments (Centre, Region,

• Proven track record in delivering results by working with cross-functional

teams
