Job Description: Transport Planner
Requirements:
o Preferably with 1-2 years of experience in Traffic / Transportation-related fields. Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or Traffic / Transportation Engineering.
o Proficient in drafting Traffic Control Plans (TCP) / Temporary Layout Plans (TLP) in compliance with local and international design standards for submission and approval as well as experience in drafting the Setting Out Plans (SET), and Cross Longitudinal Section (CLS) drawings.
o Provide technical lead and study for Road Design Works and Traffic Layout Plan (TLP) / Traffic Control Plan (TCP) works.
o Knowledge on Project Safety Review (PSR) & Traffic Management, Transport Impact Assessment (TIA) study related projects and the production of technical reports is an advantage.
o Possess strong initiative, effective communication, and leadership skills, combined with lateral thinking ability.
o To provide professional advice to developers, consultants, and other agencies on various traffic studies.
o Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D and AutoTurn. Knowledge in SIDRA software is an advantage.
o Having the certificate in “Road Safety Reviewer Accreditation Course” is an advantage.
o Make international travels to countries of which TTS Group has operations or businesses in to assist in projects or company related activities.
o Class 3 driving license is an advantage.
o Candidates with relevant experience, good understanding of transport safety & traffic management principles and strong analytical capabilities will be considered for Senior roles.
