ServiceNow Senior Technical Consultant

Role Summary The Senior Technical consultant has extensive knowledge and experience in designing and implementing solutions on the ServiceNow Platform. Technical Consultant Seniors define, develop, test, analyze, and maintain software applications in support of the achievement of the business requirements.
The role demands strong analytical skills and high research, design, documentation, and software modification capabilities throughout the production life cycle. Our Senior Technical Consultants are also proactive providing mentoring, support and guidance to the Junior Developers and perform with a high autonomy level.
Due to theirs outstanding asset of skill set and high level of decision making, Seniors Developers usually act as a Project Team Leads. Duties and responsibilities: Manage all important project processes such as: platform architecture documentation, integration documentation, work-effort estimation and hands-on advanced development.
Attend, participate, and occasionally lead Scrum meetings. Translate requirements/stories and mock-ups into fully functional features by working closely with the implementation project team. Fulfill Project's technical development and configuration at the highest standard of technical quality contributing with assignments, follow up and guidance to Junior / Mid developers.
Fulfill technical design guidance within our projects following ServiceNow best practices. Ensure Project Lead receives timely updates on assigned tasks to facilitate frequent and proactive customer communication. Contribute to the continuous improvement of Delivery Services processes as well as the maturing of the different portfolios, capabilities, expertise, and best practices in consideration of Customer needs and requirements.
Fill technical or process roles in our projects, if needed. Lead, educate, mentor and develop team members. Assist in the scoping of new opportunities, design tools and techniques to deliver efficiently. Act as the final escalation point for technical decision-making within a project.
Requirements : Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow, including implementation, development, and administration. Certifications: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator and at least one additional ServiceNow certification (e.g., Certified Implementation Specialist). Technical Skills: Proficiency in JavaScript, XML, HTML, and web services.
Strong understanding of ITIL processes. Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues. Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and team members.
Project Management: Demonstrated experience in managing projects and delivering solutions within agreed timelines. Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, as well as independently with minimal supervision. Adaptability: Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
