Service Engineer
The role
As a Service Engineer at Unimed Healthcare Pte Ltd, you will be responsible for providing expert maintenance and technical support for our medical and laboratory equipment and systems. In this dynamic role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth and reliable operation of our medical technology, contributing directly to the delivery of high-quality patient care.
What you'll be doing- Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting on a variety of medical and laboratory equipment and systems
- Identify and resolve equipment malfunctions and operational issues in a timely manner
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement system upgrades and enhancements
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all maintenance activities and equipment performance
- Provide technical guidance and training to healthcare staff on the proper use and care of equipment
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve service delivery
- Preferably at least 2 years of experience as a service engineer or technician in the healthcare industry, however, training will be provided and we welcomee anyone keen to learn new skills and knowledge.
- Strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience in the maintenance and repair of medical equipment and systems is an advantage
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and drawings
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to quickly diagnose and resolve issues
- Strong communication and customer service skills to liaise effectively with healthcare professionals
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures
- Flexible to work on-site and during non-standard hours as needed
