About the role

As a Business Development Manager at SUNTON TRADING AND CONSULTING PTE LTD, you will be responsible for driving new business opportunities and expanding the company's client portfolio. This full-time role is based in Raffles Place, Central Region, and will play a key strategic role in achieving the company's growth objectives.

What you'll be doing
  1. Identifying and cultivating new business leads through active prospecting, networking and referrals
  2. Conducting market research to understand industry trends, competitor offerings and customer needs
  3. Preparing and delivering persuasive sales presentations to prospective clients
  4. Negotiating contract terms and closing new business deals
  5. Collaborating cross-functionally with the sales, marketing and delivery teams to ensure a seamless client experience
  6. Tracking and reporting on sales pipeline, conversion rates and other key performance metrics
  7. Contributing to the development of the company's overall sales and business development strategy
What we're looking for
  1. Minimum 5 years of experience in new business development or sales, preferably within the Sales and New Business Development industry
  2. Proven track record of successfully identifying, qualifying and closing new business opportunities
  3. Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
  4. Strong commercial acumen and ability to understand and address client needs
  5. Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) tools and sales reporting
  6. Adaptable and resilient, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
