Job Responsibilities:

Co-ordinate and liaise between the Board and the Project Contractor.
Arrange and supervise Site Acceptance Test and Factory Acceptance Test as may be necessary, including the review of samples submitted by Project Contractor
Check on the quality of materials delivered to site and report to the Board any material that does not conform to the specifications.
Check the Project Contractor’s claims and advise the Board on appropriate actions to be taken.
Assist the Board to verify all variation works carried out on site.
Ensure the safety, cleanliness, tidiness, and Earth Control Measure (ECM) are provided and maintained on site, if and when required.
RTO shall include daily monitoring of site works and update of daily activities done by Project Contractor as part of his job scope.
RTO shall also assist in verifying transmittals, method statements, risk assessment and submission submitted by Project Contractor to ensure compliance to Specifications.

RTO shall also assist to certify work done each month for Contract payment purposes to be processed by the Board.

Job Requirements:

Supervised daily HIP construction activities at HDB residential projects.
 Monitored work progress to ensure compliance with approved drawings and project specifications.
 Conducted site inspections for demolition, waterproofing, tiling, painting, plumbing, and structural works.
 Inspected toilet wall tile installation to ensure alignment, joint spacing, level accuracy, and finishing quality.
 Supervised floor tile installation works and checked proper slope and drainage flow towards floor traps.
 Conducted waterproofing inspections and witnessed water ponding tests before tile installation.
 Ensured all works complied with BCA regulations, workplace safety requirements, and quality standards.
 Coordinated with Project Managers, Resident Engineers (RE), consultants, subcontractors, and HDB officers.
 Checked materials delivered to site and verified workmanship quality before approval.
 Witnessed testing and inspections including water ponding tests and rectification works.
 Prepared daily site reports, inspection records, and progress updates.
 Ensured proper implementation of risk assessments and safe work procedures.
 Attended site meetings and resolved technical and construction-related issues.
 Handled loading and unloading of construction materials.
 Maintained cleanliness and safety of work areas.
