Junior Legal Counsel [Oil & Gas MNC]

Responsibilities:

• Provide timely legal advice and support on contract reviews, disputes, compliance, and related documentation.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders, external counterparties, and external counsel on legal matters, including complex commercial structures and dispute processes.
• Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize trading and commercial contracts across various products.
• Support senior team members in reviewing complex long-term agreements such as master and offtake agreements.
• Maintain and organize legal documents, agreements, and records.
• Assist in delivering structured and ad-hoc legal and contractual training for front-office teams.

Requirements:

• Qualified and admitted to the Singapore or UK Bar.
• At least 2 years of post-qualified experience in commodity trading, shipping, oil & gas, or corporate/commercial legal practice.
• Able to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across multiple disciplines.
• Capable of working under pressure while managing concurrent deadlines.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently and in a team.
