Policy & Strategic Planning Officer (Social Service)

Work Arrangement: Hybrid (2 days WFH, 3 days WFO)

• Drive Service Improvement: Contribute to the development and review of the service blueprint for youth rehabilitation services. Identify emerging needs, opportunities, and priorities, and monitor implementation effectiveness.
• Strategic Communications & Partnerships: Develop and implement strategies that foster holistic support for youth offenders across the broader ecosystem.
• Policy & Operational Planning: Provide service-level insights to inform planning at a government and operational level. Offer input on policy and operational considerations, assess gaps, and support operationalization of strategic directions.
• Cross-Pillar Coordination: Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to evaluate feasibility, implementation plans, and operational implications.

• Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Criminology or Social Science related.
• Strategic Thinker: Able to analyse trends, anticipate future developments, and contribute to forward planning.
• Strong Communicator: Can crystallise core issues in clear, concise writing and engage stakeholders effectively to influence outcomes.
• Results-Oriented: Capable of planning and driving implementation while balancing operational priorities with broader government perspectives.
• Collaborative: Skilled in working with diverse stakeholders towards a common goal.
