Our client is a Wholesale Bank hiring for a regulatory/ markets compliance specialist.

As a key member of the Core Compliance team, you will be responsible to:

• Drive the enhancement of personal account dealing frameworks, focusing on process optimization and involvement in automation projects.
• Provide regulatory guidance to front-office stakeholders on a diverse range of market products and new business initiatives.
• Support monitoring and control activities related to internal governance standards and employee activities.
• Act as coverage for trade and communication surveillance controls and conduct internal investigations as required.
• Facilitate compliance training sessions and lead desk reviews to identify emerging risks or new regulatory requirements.

• Degree in Accountancy, Banking, Finance, or a related professional qualification.
• Minimum 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in regulatory compliance roles within a Bank. ...
• Sound understanding of the local regulatory landscape, including the Securities and Futures Act and Banking Act.
• Proven ability to manage stakeholders across various seniority levels with effective communication skills.
• Meticulous and proactive team player with the ability to provide pragmatic compliance solutions independently.
