Monday to Thursday : 8:30am to 6:00pm ; Friday: 8:30am to 5:30pm

Levitated quantum rotor for precision navigation and quantum sensing via the London effect
Diamagnetically levitated nanomechanical resonators for precision sensing

Client is seeking a highly motivated Research Engineer to contribute to pioneering projects in the development of ultra-precision sensors. By integrating the latest advancements in levitation, optics, and quantum mechanics, this role offers the opportunity to be at the forefront of cutting-edge technology.

The successful candidate will work closely with our dynamic team to drive impactful research while meeting real-world application needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and construct experimental setups, including mechanical, electronic, optical, and micro systems, using software like CAD, SolidWorks, COMSOL.
Maintain and operate optical and electronic measurement setups, and perform precise measurements.
Automate lab devices and experiments using Python, Matlab, or LabVIEW.
Design and implement electronics and circuits for experimental purposes.
Support nano/micro fabrication of devices
Acquire and analyze data from various measurements.
Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely delivery and quality execution of projects.
Troubleshoot experimental setups and resolve technical issues.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in physics, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, optics, or other relevant fields.
0-2 years experience with experimental research in physics, mechatronics, microsystems, nanofab or optics is an advantage.
Proficiency in programming (Python, Matlab, LabVIEW), instrument automation and software (SolidWorks, CAD, Comsol) is a plus.
Strong critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and eagerness to learn.
