English and Math Teacher - Punggol

What You'll Do:
- Teach English to students across a broad age range, from Nursery 2 (N2) to Primary 6 (P6), following our established curriculum.
- Teach Mathematics to younger learners, from Kindergarten 1 (K1) to Primary 2 (P2), ensuring foundational understanding and engagement.
- Prepare and deliver engaging and effective lessons, activities, and educational materials for both subjects.
- Conduct thorough student assessments, monitor progress diligently, and provide constructive feedback.
- Write comprehensive student progress reports at the end of each term.
- Proactively follow up on and address queries from parents and students, building strong relationships.
- Contribute to maintaining healthy class enrolments and fostering a positive classroom environment.
- Collaborate with team members, providing valuable feedback on lesson plans and worksheets to enhance our programmes.
Working Hours:
This is a full-time position requiring commitment to the following schedule:
- Saturdays & Sundays: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
- Mondays to Wednesdays: 12:00 PM - 9:00 PM
- (Thursdays & Fridays off)
What We're Looking For:
- A Bachelor of Education, Arts, and/or Math degree. A Post Graduate Certificate of Education, TESOL, or relevant Mathematics teaching certification is a significant advantage.
- Proven experience teaching English to students from N2 to P6.
- Proven experience teaching Mathematics to students from K1 to P2.
- Exceptional proficiency in English grammar and rules, a flair for writing, and fluent spoken standard English.
- Strong command of mathematical concepts relevant to the K1-P2 curriculum.
- A mature, responsible, patient, and positive individual with excellent classroom management skills – high energy is a definite plus!
- A great sense of humour is essential – we believe learning should be enjoyable for everyone!
- Ability to commit to the specified working hours, including weekends and evenings.
