We are hiring a Research Associate or Research Fellow in theoretical computer science to develop algorithms and/or data structures, to further our understanding of what is possible in various computation models. The Research Associate/Research Fellow is also expected to support teaching activities as required by the school.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop algorithms and/or data structures, along with appropriate computation models.
- Perform empirical validation of the algorithms and data structures developed.
- Prepare papers and conduct presentations at seminars.
- Assist the school in various teaching activities, including instructing or supervision of labs and tutorials.
Job Requirements:
- MSc (Research Associate) or PhD (Research Fellow) in Mathematics or Computer Science or closely related fields.
- Ability to design and implement advanced algorithms and data structures.
- Independent and meticulous.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
