The Opportunity:
Adecco is partnering with a flavoring manufacturer and we are looking for a Regulatory Affairs/Product Compliance Assistant Manager to join their business permanently! The successful incumbent wilL ensure that all the company's flavouring products are compliant with chemical safety regulations, especially in relation to GHS (Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals)

- Location: West region
- Working hours: Monday - Friday, 9am - 6pm
- Salary Package: up to $7,000/month + AWS
The Job:
- Lead and manage all matters related to GHS, including internal processes and external communications with authorities and customers.
- Ensure full compliance with Singapore's GHS regulations, including hazard communication programmes, and support alignment with China's GHS GB standards (e.g., Hazardous Substances Catalogue 2015).
- Oversee the creation of GHS-compliant labels in coordination with the IT team and ensure accurate implementation.
- Track regulatory developments across the APAC region, particularly in China, and provide timely updates to local teams and HQ.
- Partner cross-functionally with R&D, Operations, Sales, and Safety teams to support chemical safety compliance from product development to delivery.
- Review supplier SDS and technical documents to ensure alignment with company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Deliver internal training and guidance on chemical safety, labelling, and regulatory requirements.
The Talent:
- At least 5 years of experience in product safety, chemical regulatory compliance, or related fields-experience in the flavour or food ingredients industry is preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of GHS, SDS, and labelling regulations.
- Familiar with food additives, chemical safety, and flavour-related legislation is a plus.
- Good understanding of Singapore's WSH regulations and international compliance standards.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, with strong analytical, communication, and project coordination skills.
