Facilities Technician[Tuas/building and facility maintenance/M&E components]

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the Senior Facilities Engineer to ensure smooth, uninterrupted operations and full compliance with regulatory requirements from relevant authorities (e.g., SCDF, BCA, NEA, MOM, FSB, URA, EMA, PUB, JTC, etc.).
- Implement and support preventive maintenance programs for building systems to ensure regular inspections and testing are performed in accordance with statutory standards.
- Coordinate with contractors and service providers to ensure all maintenance and repair works are completed in accordance with contractual obligations and specifications.
- Conduct daily operations and routine inspections of all building facilities; monitor and record utility meter readings to ensure systems operate efficiently.
- Perform general maintenance tasks including basic repair works related to electrical systems, air-conditioning, plumbing, sanitary, and building infrastructure.
- Supervise and manage outsourced security services, ensuring all security protocols and procedures are consistently followed.
- Act as the secondary Site Incident Controller (SIC) and actively participate as a member of the Company Emergency Response Team (CERT).
- Assist the Fire Safety Manager (FSM) in regular fire safety inspections and assume FSM responsibilities during their absence.
- Undertake any other tasks or duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
Job Requirements:
Education & Certification:
- Minimum NITEC in Engineering (Mechanical & Electrical, Building Services, Facility Management, or a related discipline)
Experience:
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in building and facility maintenance
- Solid technical understanding of building systems, including mechanical and electrical components
Skills & Attributes:
- Strong sense of responsibility and ownership in managing tasks
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive work attitude and ability to work both independently and in a team
- Possession of a valid driving license will be an added advantage
