Jurong West - Supply Chain Manager
The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing end-to-end supply chain activities, including procurement, planning, inventory control, warehousing, and logistics. The role ensures optimal operational efficiency and alignment with quality and regulatory standards, while supporting the organization’s overall business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the full supply chain cycle from procurement to delivery, ensuring timely and cost-effective operations.
Lead demand forecasting and inventory planning to support production and sales needs while maintaining optimal stock levels.
Source, evaluate, and manage vendors and suppliers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of goods and services.
Oversee logistics operations and distribution to ensure timely and compliant shipments, both local and international.
Monitor supply chain performance through KPIs and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with GMP, ISO13485, ISO9001, and other relevant quality and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Production, Quality, Sales, R&D and Finance, to ensure seamless operations.
Manage ERP systems effectively to support supply chain functions and reporting accuracy.
Lead, mentor, and develop the supply chain team to build a strong and performance-driven culture.
Requirements- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent. A diploma/degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Molecular Biology, or a related field is an advantage.
- At least 5 years of experience in a supply chain management or related leadership role, preferably within the life sciences, pharmaceutical, or manufacturing industry.
- Proven experience in demand forecasting, procurement, and logistics coordination.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven and process-oriented approach.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in ERP systems
- Familiarity with GMP, ISO13485, ISO9001, and relevant regulatory requirements is essential.
