Job Summary

Design Engineer (Civil & Structural) for Good Class Bungalows

Responsibilities

Perform civil and structural engineering design for Good Class Bungalows to ensure compliance with relevant standards and project requirements
Analyze structural components using engineering software to validate design integrity and ensure safety
Apply BS/EU codes of practice to develop compliant structural designs tailored to bungalow projects
Design structural concepts efficiently and economically to optimize resource use and enhance project feasibility
Communicate project progress and technical findings clearly to the Project Director and management to support informed decision-making

Required competencies and certifications

Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil & Structural Engineering or equivalent,
Demonstrate at least 3 years of relevant working experience in civil and structural engineering design
Apply local design standards and codes effectively to ensure compliance in project execution
Utilize engineering design software including Tekla Tedds, Staad, Plaxis, Esteem, Midas, AutoCAD, and GStarCAD to perform structural analysis and drafting

Preferred competencies and qualifications

Work independently with a self-motivated and proactive approach to resolving design challenges
Drive innovative design and creation within civil and structural engineering projects
Collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams using strong communication skills and a positive working attitude
