Engineering Manager (hydraulics) / Marine industry

Our client is a leading provider of offshore and industrial hydraulic solutions. They are looking for a Engineering Manager to assist their team for the next phrase of their business. They are located in the West area – easily accessible.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop the engineering team to deliver high-quality designs, maintain product performance, and adopt new technologies.
• Plan and manage complex engineering projects, including technical specifications, detailed plans, and interfacing work.
• Oversee product quality and documentation, ensuring compliance with company standards, ISO 9001 requirements, and approval of engineering drawings.
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying design shortcomings, resolving hydraulic product quality issues, and recommending enhancements.
• Manage departmental resources and coordination, including budget, manpower, tools, scheduling, and cross-functional collaboration with production, projects, procurement, and applications.

Requirements:

• Min Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical / Electronic or related fields
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in engineering management working directly with project engineering teams dealing with hydraulic parts for offshore equipment and services
• Possess strong leadership skills in managing team of engineers and assistants in performing daily engineering tasks is mandatory.
