Cyber security engineer

Role Overview

The Resident Cybersecurity Engineer is responsible for the day-to-dayadministration, monitoring, and operational management of GLDB’s cybersecurityplatforms, ensuring stable operations, timely remediation, and continuousalignment with regulatory and audit requirements applicable to aregulated digital bank.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as system administrator and operational owner for enterprise security platforms,including but not limited to:
• CyberArk (PAM)
• Tenable / Rapid7
• Trend Micro
• Cloudflare
• Netskope
• GlobalSign
• Huawei Cloud Health Services
• Operate vulnerability scanning, assessment, validation, and tracking processes
• Manage container security scanning using Huawei container security scanning tools
• Perform configuration reviews, health checks, and tuning of security systems

• Review security alerts and findings and perform initial triage
• Coordinate remediation activities with infrastructure, application, and cloud teams
• Support security incident investigation and escalation

• Prepare and maintain security operation evidence for audits
• Support internal and external audit activities
• Track remediation actions arising from audit findings
• Ensure operations are aligned with MAS Technology Risk Management (TRM) expectations

• Maintain SOPs, runbooks, and operational documentation
• Produce monthly security operations and vulnerability reports

• 5+ years of hands-on cybersecurity operations experience
• Strong experience in:
• Privileged Access Management (PAM)Vulnerability ManagementEndpoint and cloud security operations
• Familiarity with:
• MAS TRM GuidelinesBanking or regulated industry environments
• Experience supporting audits and compliance reviews

• Industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH, vendor certifications)
• Experience in digital banking or financial services environments
• Exposure to cloud-native or containerized workloads

• Strong operational discipline and documentation skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with security management and auditors
• Detail-oriented with a risk-based mindset
