AA International is seeking a talented and creative Course Developer to join our team. The Course Developer will play a key role in designing, developing, and implementing engaging and effective learning experiences for our clients. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with subject matter experts to create high-quality courses that meet the needs of our target audience and support our company's mission and goals.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with subject matter experts, instructional designers, and other stakeholders to identify learning objectives, content requirements, and course outcomes.
- Design and develop course content, instructional materials, and assessments using a variety of instructional design models, principles, and technologies.
- Create engaging and interactive learning experiences that incorporate multimedia elements, such as videos, animations, simulations, and interactive exercises.
- Write clear and concise instructional content, learning objectives, and assessments that align with course objectives and target audience needs.
- Conduct quality assurance checks and review course content for accuracy, consistency, and alignment with instructional design standards and best practices.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in instructional design and e-learning development, and recommend new approaches and strategies to enhance course effectiveness.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders and project team members to provide updates on project status, solicit feedback, and address any issues or concerns.
- Assist with the evaluation and assessment of course effectiveness, gather learner feedback, and make recommendations for course improvements and revisions.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Diploma in any discipline.
- Possess WSQ Diploma in Design and Development of Learning for Performance (DDDLP) or WSQ Diploma in Adult and Continuing Education (DACE) will be an advantage.
- Experience in course development, or curriculum design, preferably in public training courses.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in Workplace Safety & Health,
- Proficiency in instructional design principles, learning theories, and adult learning methodologies.
- Strong technical skills, including proficiency with instructional design software, e-learning authoring tools, and multimedia editing software.
- Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to create clear, engaging, and effective instructional content.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement in course design and development.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
