As a Head, Social Work - Special Needs, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Provide leadership and oversight for the Social Work Department, ensuring its operations align with the organisation’s strategic goals and core values.
• Oversee quality case management and counselling services, maintaining accurate records in collaboration with the programme team.
• Lead the development and execution of departmental workplans, implement operational strategies, and address operational challenges effectively.
• Develop and monitor service standards, performance indicators, and operating guidelines.
• Collaborate with the leadership team to support the growth and scaling of disability services..
• Enhance governance by implementing policies, conducting audits, and streamlining financial assessment processes.
• Monitor and recommend effective resource allocation; prepare funding proposals when needed.
• Identify capability gaps and oversee professional development initiatives for the team.
• Any other ad doc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Degree in Social Work with at least 5 years of experience in the social service or disability sector, including a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory capacity.
