Logistics Supervisor - Toa Payoh

Job Purpose:

The Logistics Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the logistics and warehouse functions to ensure efficient, accurate, and timely delivery and receipt of goods. This includes managing inventory, coordinating transportation, supervising staff, and ensuring compliance with safety and company standards.

Responsibilities

Logistics Coordination:

• Manage and coordinate logistics activities, including inbound and outbound shipments, transportation, and warehousing.
• Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal departments to ensure smooth logistics operations

Shipping & Delivery:

• Ensure timely delivery of goods to customers or project sites and resolve any transportation or delivery issues.

Inventory Management:

• Monitor stock levels and support inventory control processes.
• Ensure accurate documentation of incoming and outgoing goods.

Compliance & Documentation:

• Ensure all logistics activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Maintain proper records and filing systems for audits and reporting.

Cost Control & Efficiency:

• Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities in logistics operations.
• Optimize transport routes and warehouse usage to improve efficiency.

Reporting:

• Prepare regular reports on logistics performance, delivery schedules, and inventory status.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain operations.
• Understanding of warehouse management procedures.
• Proficient knowledge of inventory and inventory controls.
• Proficient in computer skills and familiar with WMS.
• Able to move loads and carton boxes of up to 20 kg.
• Candidates possessing a Class 3 license have a competitive edge.
