Strategy Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct in-depth research and analysis on industry trends, and produce industry research reports and strategic development briefs.
2. Monitor competitor movements, analyze business models, and perform valuation assessments.
3. Participate in strategic initiatives (e.g., M&A, partnerships), supporting due diligence and evaluating financial and business feasibility.
4. Build and maintain core business-related data models, including forecasting models, regression analyses, and causal inference frameworks.
5. Use BI tools for data visualization and reporting, delivering insights that support business and strategic decisions.
6. Collaborate with product, finance, and operations teams to drive data-informed decision-making across functions.
7. Support various strategic projects, research tasks, and analytical needs within the strategy department.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree or above in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Financial Engineering, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
2. Experience in data analysis, industry research, or consulting; background in cryptocurrency, blockchain, or fintech is a plus.
3. Proficient in Excel and SQL; familiarity with Python or R and experience in data modeling is required.
4. Strong business acumen, logical thinking, and data-driven decision-making abilities.
5. Capable of independently producing research reports, PowerPoint presentations, and executive-level briefing materials.
6. Good English reading and writing skills; experience handling English materials or drafting bilingual reports is a plus.
7. Fluent in both English and Mandarin, with the ability to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking shareholders or management.
