Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Medical Social Worker to join our healthcare team on a 6-month contract. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering psychosocial care, providing specialised clinical services, and contributing to the development of service delivery standards within the hospital.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive bio-psychosocial assessments and provide appropriate interventions in line with best clinical practices
- Deliver specialised clinical care directly to patients and families
- Supervise and evaluate the performance of Medical Social Workers, Executives, and support staff
- Lead or participate in assigned clinical and service-related projects
Requirements:
- Degree or postgraduate qualification in Social Work
- Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in a healthcare or hospital setting
