Junior IT Project Manager (5k + AWS) (ID: 674960) - Bedok

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality support to all ongoing technical projects.
• Ensure that stakeholders receive the required support for successful project outcomes.
• Resolve escalated client concerns independently and effectively.
• Organise and oversee project components; report status and updates to the Technical Director.
• Develop project goals by reviewing proposals and plans and collaborating with management.
• Identify project responsibilities across different phases; assign personnel and review third-party contractor proposals.
• Define technical specifications by reviewing design, customer requirements, and performance standards; complete technical studies and prepare cost estimates.
• Validate product performance through the design and execution of tests.
• Plan project timelines by analysing project scope and specifications; estimate required time and sequence of activities.
• Monitor project progress to maintain timelines; coordinate cross-functional tasks and resolve issues.
• Review and manage changes to design, specifications, and schedules; recommend suitable actions.
• Manage project costs by monitoring expenditure and handling vendor/contractor agreements.
• Prepare and analyse project status reports; summarise data and trends; propose solutions.
• Contribute to team goals by delivering assigned outcomes and tasks as needed.
• Meet professional services targets and collaborate closely with the commercial team to ensure efficient project closure.
• Manage internal team members and collaborate with external vendors/partners.
• Escalate project issues promptly to minimize disruption and delays.
• Ensure all project tasks are monitored, tracked, and completed as scheduled; coordinate with clients in case of project changes or delays.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.

Job Requirements:

• Highly motivated and eager to learn new technologies; able to perform well under pressure.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT project management.
• Resourceful, independent, and a strong team player.
• Action- and customer-oriented with excellent time management.
• Self-starter with a commitment to deadlines.
• Strong ownership of projects with effective communication across stakeholders.
• Excellent interpersonal, presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Strong soft skills and the ability to communicate IT concepts and processes clearly.
• Experience in managing small to mid-sized IT solution projects.
• Degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications (preferred):
• CAPM / PMP / Scrum
• CCNA / Microsoft / ITIL v3
