Marketing Executive

Adaro International (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. (“the Company”) serves as the Group’s marketing and trading arm, responsible for the marketing of thermal and metallurgical coal, as well as the trading of third-party coal.
The Company is seeking a Marketing Executive to support the Regional Marketing Manager. The role will be part of the team responsible for supporting the development and execution of the Group’s long-term coal marketing strategy. This includes, but is not limited to, assisting in the preparation of annual sales budgets and monitoring performance against targets to ensure alignment with the Group’s overall strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the Regional Marketing Manager in executing coal sales in line with the company’s sale plan and marketing strategy.
- Coordinate export marketing activities in accordance with agreed contract terms and conditions, ensuring smooth and timely execution of shipments.
- Liaise with the mining team on production forecasts to anticipate and flag discrepancies between contracted sales volumes, tonnage, and product quality versus forecasted mine output.
- Monitor contract performance and promptly highlight any operational or commercial issues to the Regional Marketing Manager.
- Prepare monthly reports and support performance tracking and market analysis within the marketing team.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders (e.g., logistics, operations, and finance teams) to ensure efficient and accurate execution of transactions.
- Support the development of new or potential customers while maintaining strong and sustainable relationships with existing customers.
- Manage customer inquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of experience in coal trading, commodities, or energy-related industries preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good understanding of export logistics, contract terms, and international trade practices.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
