About the role
We are seeking a highly skilled IP Network Engineer to join our team at VSTECS (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. in the Lavender Central Region. As an IP Network Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design, implementation, and maintenance of our complex IP-based network infrastructure.This is a full-time position that offers competitive benefits and the opportunity to work with cutting-edge networking technologies.
What you'll be doing- Design, configure, and deploy robust and scalable IP networks to support the company's business objectives
- Implement and maintain various network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex network-related issues, ensuring optimal performance and reliability
- Continuously monitor and analyse network traffic to identify potential bottlenecks or security threats
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align network infrastructure with the evolving needs of the business
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to assist other IT professionals and end-users
- Stay up-to-date with the latest networking technologies, trends, and best practices
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience as an IP Network Engineer or in a similar role
- Proven expertise in designing, implementing, and troubleshooting IP-based networks
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, such as TCP/IP, VLAN, OSPF, BGP, and VPN
- Familiarity with network management tools and monitoring software
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
