The ideal candidate possesses strong procurement experience in a manufacturing, aerospace, engineering, or MRO environment and is confident managing direct or indirect procurement activities.

• Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of procurement, sourcing, purchasing, or supply chain experience within manufacturing, aerospace, engineering, precision engineering, electronics, or MRO environments.
• Experience managing both direct and indirect procurement activities is preferred.
• Proven experience in supplier negotiations and contract management.
• Strong understanding of strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, and vendor performance management.
• Experience driving cost savings, cost avoidance, or procurement improvement initiatives.
• Exposure to vendor rationalization and supplier development programs.
• Ability to manage challenging suppliers and ensure delivery commitments are met.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
• Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end sourcing and procurement activities for direct or indirect materials, spare parts, consumables, and services.
• Source, evaluate, negotiate, and select suppliers to achieve competitive pricing, quality, and delivery performance.
• Lead contract negotiations covering commercial terms, pricing, delivery schedules, liabilities, indemnities, currency risks, and other contractual matters.
• Manage supplier relationships, including sole-source suppliers, and drive supplier performance improvements.
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, planning, logistics, operations, and engineering teams to ensure uninterrupted supply and timely deliveries.
• Monitor supplier delivery schedules and proactively resolve supply chain issues to minimize operational disruptions.
• Drive cost reduction, cost avoidance, and cash flow improvement initiatives through strategic sourcing and procurement strategies.
• Identify opportunities for vendor rationalization, supplier consolidation, and risk mitigation.
• Maintain procurement records, supplier databases, pricing information, and procurement metrics.
• Support material reviews, continuous improvement initiatives, and procurement reporting activities.
• Influence and engage stakeholders across different business functions to achieve procurement objectives.
