As an Assistant Director, Architecture & Project Management, you will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Lead architectural coordination and site management activities to ensure design intent, clinical requirements, and construction deliverables are successfully executed.
  • Review and coordinate design drawings, technical submissions, and consultant deliverables to ensure compliance with project requirements and operational needs.
  • Conduct site inspections, monitor construction progress, and oversee quality, programme, and design compliance.
  • Facilitate engagement with clinical and operational stakeholders, translating user requirements into practical design solutions.
  • Drive the implementation of healing environment initiatives, ensuring a seamless and patient-centric experience across the campus.
  • Oversee the development and execution of wayfinding, interior design, and landscape strategies to enhance patient, visitor, and staff experiences.
  • Ensure design consistency, quality standards, and alignment with organisational objectives across all public, clinical, and patient-facing spaces.
  • Lead readiness planning and coordination to ensure facilities, spaces, and environmental design elements are fully operational before opening.
  • Manage user familiarisation programmes, pre-opening inspections, and stakeholder engagement activities to support a smooth transition into operations.
  • Oversee defect management, commissioning activities, and activation of wayfinding, interior fit-out, and landscape components.
  • Partner with operational, facilities, and clinical teams to identify risks, address readiness gaps, and support successful service commencement.
  • Monitor project milestones, readiness indicators, and governance requirements, providing regular updates to project leadership and stakeholders.
  • Any other ad doc duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Possess a Degree in Architecture, Building Science or related built environment discipline with at least 10 years of experience in project management.
