Job Summary
Takada Industries Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee and deliver construction and engineering projects in Singapore. The successful candidate will be responsible for end-to-end project management, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with local regulations and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage construction and engineering projects from planning, execution, to final handover
- Develop and control project schedules, budgets, manpower planning, and procurement strategies
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams
- Ensure compliance with BCA regulations, Singapore building codes, MOM safety requirements, and contractual obligations
- Oversee site operations, progress tracking, and quality control
- Manage project risks, variations, claims, and cost control effectively
- Review and approve engineering drawings, method statements, and technical submissions
- Conduct regular project and site meetings, providing accurate progress reports to management
- Ensure strict adherence to Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) and environmental standards
- Resolve technical, contractual, and operational issues promptly
- Mentor project managers, engineers, and site teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil/Mechanical/Electrical), Construction Management, or related discipline
- Minimum 8–12 years of relevant leadership experience in piping and maintenance industries in Singapore
- Proven track record managing projects as a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager
- Strong knowledge of International & Singapore construction practices, contracts, and regulatory requirements (eg; ASME, ANSI, BS EN)
- Familiarity with BCA, MOM, LTA, PUB, NEA standards (where applicable)
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong planning, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
- Proficient in MS Office and project management tools, 3D Modeling (e.g., Navisworks, AUTOCAD)
- Professional certifications such as PMP, PE, or equivalent will be an advantage
- Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents only
- Candidates must be able to work locally without employment pass sponsorship
