Assistant Engineer

Description:

We are looking for an Assistant Engineer to assist with the scheduling, planning, forecasting, resourcing, and managing of technical activities to ensure project accuracy and quality. The Project Engineer is responsible for the engineering and technical disciplines of ongoing projects and will establish inspection criteria for the proper implementation of all the elements of a project.

• utilisation, and
• maintenance

Responsibilities:

• Plan system configurations based on customer needs and site conditions
• Assemble materials and structures, and perform installations in accordance to intended design and local codes
• Connect hardware to the electrical system and conduct testing and commissioning of systems while monitoring and ensuring quality of installations
• Conduct site inspections and/ or support checks and inspections to validate installation completions to meet project requirements
• Coordinate with O&M, technical / engineering resources / contractors / authorities for execution of the project.
• Solve any technical problems and conduct the troubleshooting of systems
• Participate actively in key project such as cost reduction, system improvement, process capability (Cpk) improvement, new equipment system development and qualification, new material evaluation/qualification, etc.

Requirements:

• Diploma / Higher NITEC, NITEC in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil Engineering or related fields
• Entry level candidates are welcome.

Good to have:

• Working experience in the field of equipment maintenance is advantageous.
