Construction Business Development Manager

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Construction Business Development Manager to drive business growth and expand client relationships within the construction and engineering sector. The candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, managing client relationships, and supporting tender submissions to achieve company revenue targets.

• Working days : Monday to Friday (8.30am to 6pm)

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the construction, engineering, infrastructure, and related industries.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with developers, consultants, contractors, and key stakeholders.
• Source and follow up on project leads, tenders, and potential contracts.
• Prepare business proposals, presentations, and participate in tender submissions.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify industry trends and opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal teams including operations, quantity surveying, procurement, and project management to support project execution.
• Negotiate commercial terms and contracts with clients and partners.
• Attend networking events, industry meetings, and site visits to promote company services.
• Achieve sales targets and business growth objectives set by management.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and project pipelines.

• Diploma or Degree in Business, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of business development or sales experience in the construction industry.
• Strong network within Singapore’s construction and engineering sector will be an advantage.
• Familiar with construction tendering processes and project cycles.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Possess strong interpersonal and relationship management skills.

• Experience in dealing with main contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and developers.
• Knowledge of local construction regulations and industry practices.
