Description- Provide first and second-line support for core applications used within the financial services sector.
- Monitor and troubleshoot application performance, resolving issues promptly to minimise impact on operations.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to address technical challenges and escalate complex issues when necessary.
- Assist in deploying updates and patches to ensure application stability and security.
- Document support activities and maintain accurate records of incidents and resolutions.
- Proactively identify areas for improvement in application performance and user experience.
- Conduct routine system checks and maintenance tasks to support operational excellence.
- Provide user training and support to enhance understanding of the systems in use.
Profile
A successful Application Support Analyst should have:
- A degree or certification in information technology, computer science, or a related field.
- Practical experience supporting applications in the financial services industry.
