Business Development AM/Manager (Hunter/Freight Forwarder MNC/Ocean & Air)

Our client, a globally established leader in freight forwarding and integrated logistics, is seeking a Business Development Assistant Manager /Manager to drive revenue expansion and strengthen market positioning across Ocean Freight, Air Freight, and end-to-end logistics solutions.

• Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities in freight forwarding line
• Develop new customer accounts and grow existing key accounts to increase market share.
• Promote freight solutions across air freight, sea freight, trucking, customs clearance and warehousing.
• Build strong customer relationships through regular follow-ups, meetings and service reviews.
• Prepare quotations, proposals and negotiate commercial terms with customers.
• Work closely with operations, pricing and customer service teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Monitor customer satisfaction and drive service improvements where needed.
• Provide market intelligence on customer trends, competitors and pricing movements.
• Support annual business planning, sales forecasts and product value propositions.

• Diploma / Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business or related discipline.
• Minimum 3–5 years’ sales / business development experience in freight forwarding.
• Strong hunter profile with proven ability to develop new business.
• Good knowledge of air freight, ocean freight and logistics solutions.
• Strong communication, negotiation and client management skills.
• Independent, proactive, target-driven and commercially minded.
