[ref. v54343501] Infrastructure Engineer - Bukit Merah

We are seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, and manage hybrid infrastructure across AWS and on-premise environments. The role involves end-to-end planning, setup, and integration of servers, networks, and observability systems across multiple client and public transport operator sites.

• Assess, design, install, and configure on-premise servers and infrastructure.
• Conduct site surveys across client data centres and offices to determine setup requirements.
• Develop detailed deployment and network design documents (rack, power, and connectivity).
• Plan and coordinate hardware deliveries and installations with vendors and project managers.
• Design and implement AWS and on-prem network routing, including Direct Connect and MPLS.
• Integrate system observability (Dynatrace SaaS, SNMP traps) with infrastructure components.
• Manage infrastructure operations — firewall configurations, access control, patching, and compliance.
• Collaborate with architecture and security teams to configure and secure deployed systems.
• Support the transition of infrastructure management from previous vendors.

• 3+ years of experience in IT infrastructure or network engineering.
• Proven expertise in AWS networking (VPC, Direct Connect, Transit Gateway) and on-prem connectivity.
• Strong knowledge of routing, firewalls, VPNs, and network troubleshooting.
• Experience with observability tools (e.g., Dynatrace, Prometheus) and SNMP integrations.
• Familiarity with infrastructure operations (patching, IAM, certificates, compliance).
• Excellent documentation, coordination, and stakeholder communication skills.
• Relevant certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, CCNP/CCIE) preferred.

This is an initial 12-month contract role on a full-time basis.
