About the role
We are seeking a Research Assistant to join the team at S1ngularity on a part-time basis. This role is pivotal in supporting our clinical and medical research initiatives, providing essential assistance to our research team in advancing scientific discovery and innovation.As a Research Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of patient evidence research projects, data collection, and analysis whilst maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and integrity. This position offers the opportunity to contribute directly to meaningful healthcare research that has the potential to impact patient outcomes and advance medical knowledge.
Key responsibilities- Assist with the design, planning, and execution of clinical and medical research studies under the supervision of senior research staff
- Survey scripting and testing
- Data cleaning and reporting
- Assist with dashboard development
- Conduct basic data analysis and contribute to the preparation of research reports and publications
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive research documentation
- Communicate effectively with research team members and provide administrative support as required
- A relevant qualification in life sciences, healthcare, nursing, psychology, or a related field is desirable
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work accurately with complex data and research protocols
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, particularly important in managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Clear written and verbal communication skills with the ability to document procedures and findings accurately
- A genuine interest in clinical or medical research and commitment to advancing scientific knowledge
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and demonstrate flexibility in a dynamic research setting
- Preferred experience with specific research methodologies, statistical analysis software, or electronic health records systems
