Senior Accounts Associate
Summary
As a Senior Accounts Associate at our accounting firm, you will take a key role in managing and overseeing our clients’ financial affairs. Your responsibilities will include supervising bookkeeping activities, reviewing and finalizing financial statements, managing payroll processes, and ensuring accurate account reconciliations.You will serve as a trusted advisor to clients, working closely with them to understand their business objectives, provide strategic financial insights, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
This position offers the opportunity to handle complex accounting matters, build strong client relationships, and make a meaningful impact in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of accounting principles, proven experience in managing multiple client accounts, excellent communication skills, and a strong commitment to delivering exceptional client service.
Job Scope- Data entries of accounting transactions for clients’ companies;
- Closing of accounts and preparation of management accounts for clients;
- Bank Reconciliation
- Compilation of required reports and schedules for audit;
- Computation of Goods and Services Tax (GST) for clients’ companies;
- Perform payroll calculations and preparation of the required payroll reports and returns;
- Drafting of resolutions and legal documents;
- Other assignments and special projects.
- Min 2 year experience in Accounting Firm or Audit Firm
- Diploma or professional accounting qualifications
- Keen interest in professional accounting services.
- Proactive, with a strong sense of work commitment
- Ability to work independently in a team
- Ability to work under pressure and effectively manage timelines
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills for managing client interactions
