Customer Service Officer
About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and proactive individual to join our team as a Customer Service Officer.
You will be the first point of contact for students and parents, managing enquiries, guiding them through lesson sign-ups, and assisting with instrument and accessory selection.
This role combines customer service, operations, and consultative sales — with clear progression opportunities into senior operations or centre management.
Salary & Benefits- Base salary: $2,100 per month

- Retail hours (approx. 10:30am – 7:30pm with 1 hour lunch break)
Key Responsibilities
Customer Experience & Enquiries- Respond to enquiries via WhatsApp, phone, and walk-ins
- Guide students and parents through trial lessons and enrolment
- Provide clear, professional, and timely communication
- Recommend suitable violins, cellos, and accessories based on customer needs
- Assist walk-in customers with product selection
- Build trust through honest, consultative recommendations (no hard selling)
- Support lesson scheduling and student records
- Track attendance and assist with daily operations
- Handle basic billing and administrative tasks
- Maintain a clean and organised centre environment
- Coordinate with teachers on schedules and updates
- Assist with recitals, events, and centre activities
- At least 2 years of customer service or sales experience
- Good communication skills in English
- Confident interacting with customers and making recommendations
- Organised and able to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Responsible and follows through on commitments
- Comfortable working weekends and retail hours
- Interest in music or education is a strong advantage
