Maintenance Technician - Toa Payoh

1. Core Responsibilities

This is a hands-on role that requires both proactive maintenance and quick problem-solving.

• Perform both preventive and productive maintenance on all company assets. This includes diagnosing and isolating faults, troubleshooting electronic and mechanical issues, and installing or replacing components like door pins, locks, electronic boards, and cables.
• Ensure doors close properly by testing and installing door chains, handles, arms, and springs.
• Conduct routine cleaning of all locker cabinets and terminals, including sanitizing, polishing, and lubricating as needed.
• Check for safety risks in both public and office environments and report them immediately.
• Liaise internally and with vendors to manage spare parts and maintain an adequate inventory of critical components.
• Perform system configuration, including reimaging locker systems, setting up net boxes with software, and making new connecting cables after training.
• Install and service locker systems in Singapore and Malaysia when required.
• Modify locker terminals or cabinets to accommodate new devices as needed.
• After training, you will be responsible for testing and repairing payment systems such as note readers, credit card readers, and scanners, as well as testing and replacing computer components.
• Be able to work with minimal supervision, take initiative and act on urgent matters with priority

• Comply with all safety regulations and keep your work area clean and organized.
• Work on shift timings and submit comprehensive work reports before the end of each shift.
• Assist customers with any issues they have with the lockers, including resolving payment problems amicably. Escalate more complex issues to your manager for resolution.
• Participate in daily video calls with your reporting manager to discuss any pressing matters or issues from the previous day.
• Be available to work outside of regular hours when necessary.
• Posess a basic understanding of electrical installations and computer networking
