Investment Counselor (Private Wealth) - Bukit Merah

Job Description:

Our client is a leading bank and they are seeking an experienced and client-focused Investment Counselor to provide tailored investment advisory services to high-net-worth (HNW) and ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) clients. The successful candidate will work closely with relationship managers to deliver customized wealth solutions, ensuring portfolio growth and risk management aligned with clients’ financial goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide personalized investment advice to HNW and UHNW clients, aligning portfolios with financial objectives and risk tolerance.
• Develop and implement bespoke investment strategies across multiple asset classes, including equities, fixed income, alternative investments, and structured products.
• Monitor market trends, economic developments, and investment opportunities to optimize portfolio performance.
• Collaborate with relationship managers to deepen client relationships and identify new investment opportunities.
• Conduct regular portfolio reviews and recommend adjustments based on market conditions and client preferences.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and risk management frameworks.
• Educate clients on financial markets, investment products, and portfolio strategies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; CFA, CFP, or equivalent certifications preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in investment advisory, wealth management, or private banking.
• Candidates who already obtain CMFAS RES1B, RES2B, RES 5, CM-EIP, CM-SIP will have added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of financial markets, asset allocation, and investment strategies.
• Proven track record in managing client portfolios and delivering investment solutions.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance in private wealth management.
