EHS (Environmental, Health & Safety)CO-ORDINATOR

Overview

As a EHS Coordinator, you will assist the EHS Officer in the daily operation of executing the company's safety regulations and practices in the factory and sites.

1. Assist EHS Officer on safety and health matters on Production Plan.
2. Execute appropriate safety measurements in accordance with the Workplace Safety & Health Act.
3. Liaise closely with operations staff, Project Managers, clients, main contractors, consultants and authority etc. on all safety and health issues.
4. Assist EHS Officer in accident / incident reporting and investigations as well as hold toolbox meeting and all EHS matters execution.
5. Coordinate and maintain records of safety orientation and daily toolbox meetings.
6. Ensure safe work practices are adhered to by all parties in the daily site activities.
7. Perform daily inspection to ensure compliance to prevailing MOM regulations and Company ISO & IMS system.
8. Attend to all feed backs on safety irregularities and inform the EHS Officer accordingly.
9. Enforce all safety legislation and in-house safety rules and regulations.
10. Ensure supervisors and workers are following the safe work procedures compliance.
11. Assist EHS Officer to liaise with relevant authority during visiting / complain or feed backs if necessary.
12. Detect safety violation and report to EHS Officer.
13. Perform any other duties as assigned by the Management and the designated manager.

1. At least a Professional certificate / N ITE cor equivalent.
2. Must possess at least an Advance Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health by BCA.
3. Must possess professional knowledge in Lawand regulations (WSH Act and Environment).
4. At least 3 years of working experience in construction / manufacturing industry.
5. A good team player with good communication skills and multi-tasking.
6. Physically Fit & Healthy.
7. Hardworking and driven.
8. Able to write and speak in English and Mandarin as need to liaise with Chinese Client and workers.
9. Computer literate with MS Word, Excel, Power Point etc.
