About the role
You'll be the technical voice in front of customers and partners — running demos, scoping and delivering POCs, and owning the technical sections of tender responses. You'll also work side-by-side with sales: meeting customers, understanding requirements, and preparing quotations.The role sits at the boundary of technical and commercial, and you're expected to own both sides of what you take on.
You will report directly to the VP of Clients & Markets.
What you'll do- Run product demonstrations for end customers and channel partners
- Meet customers and partners; understand their requirements; prepare quotations and Bills of Materials
- Scope, design, and deliver POCs — from camera placement through to result presentation
- Own the technical sections of tender responses (compliance matrices, system architecture diagrams, sizing calculations)
- Translate customer requirements into system designs, working with the engineering team where needed
- Build and maintain partner enablement materials (datasheets, demo scripts, integration guides)
- 1–3 years in a presales, solutions engineering, technical sales, or deployment engineer role
- Hands-on experience with at least one of: video analytics, VMS platforms, IP camera deployment, ONVIF / RTSP, network design for video, cloud infrastructure (AWS or Azure), or computer vision / AI product deployment
- Comfortable in front of customers — explaining, defending, listening, and quoting
- Sharp written and spoken English
- Bonus: fresh Computer Science / Electrical Engineering / Information Systems grad with a strong industry internship at a security, video, or AI company
- Direct technical and commercial ownership of bids and deployments
- A flat structure — you'll report directly to the VP of Clients & Markets
- Exposure to both technical and commercial sides of the business — this role is a launchpad, not a silo
- Backend support from engineering — but the customer relationship and the deal are yours to own
