Industrial Product Designer

Job description:

• Research and develop design concepts for industrial products based on market trends, user needs, and business requirements.
• Create sketches, 2D drawings, and 3D models using design software (SolidWorks, Rhino, AutoCAD, KeyShot) or any 3D software capable of converting files into STL and STP formats.
• Develop product form, materials, and finishes while ensuring functionality and manufacturability.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, procurement, and marketing teams throughout the product development cycle.
• Prepare design specifications, technical drawings, and documentation for production and prototyping.
• Participate in prototype evaluation, testing, and design improvements.
• Ensure designs comply with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company quality guidelines.
• Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers to resolve design and production issues.
• Support cost optimization without compromising design intent and product quality.
• Assist in product presentation materials, mock-ups, and design reviews with management or clients.
• proficient in both English and Chinese to communicate effectively with both vendors and customers to ensure smooth operations.
