The Assistant Relationship Manager (ARM) supports the Relationship Manager in managing client relationships, preparing loan documentation, and ensuring the smooth execution of lending transactions. The ARM will assist in client meetings, coordinate internal processes, and help maintain a high standard of service delivery.

The role is suitable for candidates with foundational experience in loans or banking operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Relationship Manager in preparing and reviewing loan applications, credit proposals, and related documentation
  • Attend client meetings to support discussions and take follow-up actions
  • Coordinate with internal departments (e.g., credit, legal, compliance) to ensure timely processing of deals
  • Prepare, review, and manage loan contracts and other customer documentation
  • Maintain accurate records and client information in accordance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
  • Help monitor loan drawdowns, repayments, covenants, and documentation milestones
  • Provide administrative support including scheduling meetings and compiling reports
  • Assist in managing client inquiries and resolving service-related issues promptly

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Business, Finance, Banking, or related fields
  • 1–3 years of experience in banking or loan-related functions preferred
  • Familiarity with loan documentation and credit processes
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented with good written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
