We're looking for a Security Engineer to support the implementation and management of Microsoft security solutions, with a focus on Purview. This position plays a key part in strengthening data governance, compliance, and risk management as part of the organisation's broader digital transformation efforts.

Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Deploy, configure and manage Microsoft Purview solutions including data loss prevention, Information Protection, Insider Risk Management, and eDiscovery
- Establish and manage policies for data classification, retention, and labelling to support regulatory requirements
- Monitor security alerts and manage incident response leveraging behavioural analysis and risk-based approaches
- Collaborate with various teams to support data governance strategies aligned with regulations (e.g PDPA and GDPR)
- Ensure seamless integration between Microsoft Purview and other Microsoft security solutions like Defender, Entra ID, and Sentinel
- Deliver training and awareness programs to encourage effective use of data security tools and policies
- Support compliance audits and provide expert advice on secure data management practices
Profile
A successful candidate should have:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or related field
- At least 3 years' experience with Microsoft 365 Security & Compliance tools
- Proven skills in managing Microsoft Purview solutions, including DLP and information protection
- Knowledge of data security platforms and key regulatory standards (e.g., ISO 27001, PDPA)
- Excellent analytical abilities, communication skills, and experience managing stakeholder relationships
- Relevant Microsoft certifications are a plus, including security and compliance credentials
- Work with cutting-edge Microsoft security and compliance technologies
- Develop expertise in data governance and Zero Trust security models
