Plant Technician (Machine Operator) - Choa Chu Kang

Job Responsibilities:

• Operate fixed shear equipment with stationary grab used to cut the process steel scrap.
• Commit to plant safety procedures. Ensure all relevant safety measures are adhered prior to application of permit-to-work.
• Maintenance activities and supporting plant operation to minimize downtime.
• Assist in the maintenance of mobile machineries like Liebherr 954, Cat 336 Grapple / Magnetic and Volvo 480 Grapple.
• Ensure 5S housekeeping to ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of the plant area including control room, lightings are all function, appropriate tools and equipment are in working condition.
• Target for incident free and reliable operations, including timely and proper maintenance of systems.
• Ensure tools and equipment are replenished timely, reinstated, and maintained.
• Provide immediate response to incidents and emergencies.
• Any job assigned by the Engineer and Manager.

Job Requirements:

• Experience in Industrial Plant/Static Machinery Operator is a must.
• Experience in Metal Stamping/Shearing machine operator would be an added advantage.
• Perform Pre-Operation checks on Machine prior to Operation.
• Able to follow Instruction and Production schedule.
• Observe and follow Company Safety rules and Regulations.
• Willing to work overtime.

Working Hours:

• 6 days workweek: Monday to Saturday (rotating shift work)
